1987 | Domenico Zicchino, nuova simat founder,

Torque Bolting.

When "Simat" was born, the world of torque tightening was rather rudimentary. Domenico Zicchino, the founder, embarked on a pioneering path, bringing to the market the Hydraulic Torque Wrenches, an unknown product, at the time. Since then, Simat began to provide instrumentation to support the industry.

Site Machining.

In addition to Torque Bolting, other mechanics-related problems can arise on site. The desire to be able to help its customers has prompted Simat to consider new possibilities for collaboration. The Site Service department was born, which carries out on-site mechanical processing through application of portable machine tools.
