This service pack is aimed to any End User, overhaul Service Provider, or OEM of steam turbines which needs to repair control valves with toroidal seat included in valve body.
Activities carried out using of NC boring machine and orbital welder (twin solution to facilitate swapping between two machines), composed of following steps:
Stripping – Removal of the damaged overlay material (sometime including all overlay and HAZ).
Welding – Welding of new base material and/or overlay material.
Shaping – Machining of the welded overlay to reach the nominal profile. If required, it is possible to reach the highest level of finishing by lapping (usually NC boring ensures 100% contact by blue check seat-plug).
In case of minimal damages of seat surface, is possible to apply short procedure of repair by only reprofiling of surface.

Up to Ø335 x Depth 945mm from valve body flange. Oversize available on request.
